AlphaPlus is working on behalf of the Standards and Testing Agency (STA) to deliver the Technical Pre-Tests (TPT) for KS1 and KS2 as well as the Item Validation Trial (IVT) for KS2.
We are currently recruiting a team of test administrators (TAs) to visit schools to administer the trial between April and June 2025. We are looking for teachers, social workers, retired teachers or individuals with experience working in a primary school or experience working with young children.
Prior to the trial there will be a full day in person training session, which is scheduled to take place at the end of March. The dates and locations will be confirmed shortly.
We anticipate that there will be a few weeks’ work for each selected TA, though this may vary depending on the locations and availability of the participating schools. The rate of pay is £185 per day.
All TAs will need to hold a current, valid DBS certificate. This can either be an existing certificate that is registered on the Update Service, or has been sponsored by AlphaPlus or if required, we will support a new DBS application.
