John was a founding director of the eAssessment Association, a not-for-profit membership organisation for consumers and producers of technology-supported assessment. John has been a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Assessors since 2010, recognising the highest level of expertise and experience in assessment, and is a trustee of VTCT, a vocational awarding body.
John has also served as a National Leader of Governance, and Chair of The Beckfoot Trust, a Multi-Academy Trust comprising 10 schools, 7500 students and 1100 staff across primary, secondary and special school provision. He has led this innovative and well-regarded school trust since its inception in 2013.
