We are currently expanding our international training portfolio, harnessing our deep expertise in assessment, school improvement and standards to support schools globally. As part of this growth, we are developing a suite of high-impact training materials designed specifically for the Middle Eastern school sector.
The Opportunity
We are seeking experienced education facilitators and senior leaders based in the Middle East to join our associate network. Successful candidates will be responsible for delivering our new assessment training programme to schools across the region.
This is a pivotal role in building and delivering a high-quality service that supports schools in improving outcomes and standards across school stages from primary to Key Stage 4. All training and communication will be conducted in English.
The Role
- Delivery: Facilitate high-quality training sessions in schools, both face-to-face and online, using expert materials provided by AlphaPlus.
- Engagement: Build impactful, professional relationships with school staff and senior leadership teams.
- Expertise: Act as a representative of AlphaPlus, providing authoritative guidance on assessment and school improvement from professional experience.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for senior education experts with a proven track record of school improvement or staff development.
Essential Requirements:
- Training Excellence: A confident and effective facilitator with experience delivering training to staff at all levels.
- Regional Expertise: Deep experience working within International Schools in the Middle East, with a thorough understanding of UK and/or US curricula.
- Leadership Background: Expertise in assessment, ideally held at Senior Leader level or beyond.
- Current Knowledge: Practical teaching or leadership experience with up-to-date knowledge of modern school challenges and opportunities.
- Technical Proficiency: Confident in using technology to deliver training, including familiarity with hybrid and remote models.
- Interpersonal Skills: The ability to build positive, impactful relationships with diverse clients and stakeholders.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience in developing or refining new training content.
- Experience managing or leading teams of facilitators.
Practical Information
- Timescales: We are currently building our associate database ahead of an initial roll-out planned for later in the calendar year. Inclusion in the database does not guarantee work.
- Logistics: Delivery of live, face-to-face training will depend on location and the ability to travel. Expenses for pre-approved travel will be reimbursed.
- Compliance: For face-to-face delivery, a clear Enhanced DBS (or equivalent international criminal record check) is mandatory.
- Equipment and availability: Applicants will need access to a reliable internet connection and have means of hosting Microsoft Teams / Zoom calls on their own device. Provision of IT equipment may be available if required upon discussion of need with AlphaPlus.
