Romy has led AlphaPlus’ Board of Directors since the beginning of 2022. She leads complex projects across all areas of the organisation, testament to her wide experience, flexibility and agility.
Having begun her career as an English and digital technologies teacher, she moved from a Principal’s role to head up the Further Education, Higher Education and schools Division at Edexcel. She then joined Pearson as Director, where she initially led the technologies, then the global research and evaluation division, and finally the professional, technical, and work-based learning division. She was subsequently appointed as Global Director of Learning and Assessment with Oxford University Press and the Department for Continuing Education.
