Sam has previously worked as an independent contractor with 30 years of experience in IT. He began his career as a software developer, then moved up through team leadership and onto department management. This culminated in becoming the senior manager in charge of the entire development and database administration function in Asda, for both internal colleagues and external vendors, across multiple sites.
Sam then changed direction and moved into IT Architecture, first as a Solution Architect and then an Enterprise Architect specialising in Business Intelligence, Logistics and large-scale integration technologies.
Sam has worked in Banking, Telecoms, Retail, Consulting, Government and now Education. Sam has worked in the UK, Sweden, the Netherlands and Switzerland.
